Welcome!  

Writing a blog about the experiences in my preschool classroom has been on my mind for over a year.  I kept putting it off until I realised how difficult it is to find ideas and inspirations about project work within preschool settings.  If you search "Dogs", "Airplanes", or "Fire Safety" the typical paper bag or cut out crafts come up.  Not that I haven't used these from time to time, but what I wanted to find was stories of how preschoolers EXPLORED these topics.  I wanted to know how a group of children and their teachers INVESTIGATED these interest, what LEARNING GOALS were set and achieved, what QUESTIONS were asked by the children, and how they went about DISCOVERING the answers to their questions.  I wanted to read and watch the story of discovery evolve and be inspired to do the same within my classroom.
